Country in the Spotlight: Kazakhstan | DPC Seminar at VIV Europe 2026
On Wednesday 3 June 2026, Dutch Poultry Centre will host a dedicated seminar at VIV Europe 2026 in Utrecht, focused on the Kazakh poultry market and the official launch of the Poultry Forward Kazakhstan programme.
About the Seminar
As part of VIV Europe 2026, Dutch Poultry Centre organises the seminar Country in the Spotlight: Kazakhstan. The session will take place from 14:00 to 16:00 in Room Beam at Jaarbeurs Utrecht and brings together Dutch and Kazakh industry leaders, government representatives, and knowledge partners to explore the opportunities and developments within the Kazakh poultry sector.
Distinguished Guests
We are honoured to welcome H.E. Mr. Akan Rakhmetullin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He will address the strategic importance of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands.
We are also pleased to welcome Mr. Ulan Tazkhibayev, Vice President of the Poultry Union of Kazakhstan, who will share the latest developments and growth opportunities within the Kazakh poultry market.
Official Launch: Poultry Forward Kazakhstan
During the seminar, the Partners for International Business (PIB) programme Poultry Forward Kazakhstan will be officially launched. This initiative, supported by more than 350,000 euros in Dutch government investment, brings together leading Dutch poultry companies and knowledge partners with the shared goal of strengthening Dutch poultry technology and expertise in Kazakhstan.
The programme supports international cooperation, innovation and sustainable poultry development, and includes an official signing ceremony between the Dutch government and the participating Dutch cluster members.
