De Heus acquires Van der Linden

De Heus Voeders has acquired Kessels Holding BV and its underlying activities. Kessels Holding BV includes Van der Linden & Co BV, Van der Linden & Co Beheer BV, Van der Linden Diervoeders BV, Van der Linden Poultry Farms BV and Van der Linden Poultry Products BV.

In order to ensure the continuity of the company, Van der Linden has for some time been looking for suitable successors for the current directors and shareholders, Jan and Geert Kessels. By making this move, this succession has been guaranteed and De Heus has affirmed its confidence in the sustainable future of the mainstream Dutch and Belgian broiler sector.

Geert Kessels remains jointly responsible for the slaughter activities as operational director. Jan Kessels has now reached retirement age and will shortly transfer his duties. For suppliers and customers of Van der Linden Poultry Products BV, there will be no changes to everyday business. All existing agreements will be respected and preserved.
