ForFarmers strengthens its position in the Polish poultry market with a new joint venture
DPC member ForFarmers has announced an important strategic step to strengthen its position in the fast-growing Polish poultry sector. The company is entering into a joint venture with KPS Food Group, a leading player in poultry production, slaughtering, and food processing.
In this new collaboration, the activities of Tasomix — ForFarmers’ existing joint venture in Poland — will be merged with the activities of KPS. The new organization will operate under the name ForFarmers Polska, in which ForFarmers will hold a majority stake of 50.5%.

Value chain integration
With this step, ForFarmers is clearly focusing on further integration of the poultry value chain — from feed production to processing and consumer products. According to CEO Pieter Wolleswinkel, value chain cooperation is becoming increasingly important for a future-proof poultry sector.
By combining Tasomix’s feed expertise with KPS’s modern processing activities, an integrated organization will be created that can respond more effectively to market developments and customer needs in Poland, a country where the poultry sector is growing rapidly.
Strong position in a growing market
KPS operates seven poultry farms, a modern slaughterhouse in Radom, and a production facility for consumer products in Pionki. The company employs approximately 2,000 people and generated a turnover of around PLN 1,065 million in 2025.
Tasomix, part of ForFarmers since 2018, is one of the largest animal feed producers in Poland and provides feed solutions for poultry, pigs, and ruminants.
The transaction is still subject to approval by the Polish competition authority and ForFarmers’ shareholders. Completion is expected in the third quarter of 2026.
