Harm Laros joins the board of Dutch Poultry Centre
Dutch Poultry Centre welcomes Harm Laros as a new member of its board. He succeeds Jan van de Heetkamp.
Harm has about 25 years of experience in the poultry industry. After studying at the Christelijke Agrarische Hogeschool in Dronten and working in the oil and gas industry, he joined Storteboom in 2001 as a controller. He became group controller in 2003 and financial director in 2007, when he was closely involved in setting up a new production site in Poland. Storteboom was acquired by 2 Sisters Food Group in 2010. From late 2015 until early 2022, Harm was CEO of the European division, responsible for all 2 Sisters Storteboom activities on the continent.
In 2022 he joined Pluriton, where he got to know the egg side of the poultry chain. For the past three years he has worked independently on strategic and management assignments, mainly in agri and food. He is also chairman of the supervisory board at two companies.
"My background in poultry processing is the reason I joined the DPC board," says Harm. "I hope to add value through my network and experience."
"I'm looking forward to working with the team."
We are glad to have Harm on board and look forward to working with him.
