Dutch Poultry Centre member Sanovo Technology Group has shared several important developments this September, ranging from a new strategic partnership to customer success stories and international collaboration.
Strategic Partnership for In-Ovo Egg Sexing Technology
Sanovo Technology Group, together with Canadian Egg Technologies (CET) and MatrixSpec Solutions, has announced a strategic partnership to commercialize a Canadian-developed in-ovo egg sexing system. The technology is regarded as one of the earliest and most practical solutions of its kind currently available on the market. The partnership aims to support a global commercial launch in late 2026 or early 2027, positioning the innovation as a significant step forward for the egg industry in terms of both animal welfare and operational efficiency.
Customer Story: Hebei Jiamei Processes 3 Million Eggs a Day
In China, Hebei Jiamei set out to build a modern liquid egg processing facility with a clear set of priorities: automation, food safety, consistent quality, and reliable technology. Today, their fully automated Sanovo solution processes around 3 million eggs every day, supplying liquid egg products to markets both within China and internationally. Reflecting on the growth in demand, Hebei Jiamei noted that their only regret was not scaling up from the very beginning, a testament to how the right processing technology can unlock new opportunities for producers.
Strengthening Ties with Turkish Partner
At the end of August, Sanovo welcomed the commercial department of Turkish partner Martı Mühendislik A.Ş./Gürhan Group to its headquarters in Denmark. The visit centered on how the two companies can better serve egg and food producers across Türkiye, with particular attention paid to powder production through horizontal box spray drying, applicable to both egg products and other food applications. The visit reinforced the strong working relationship between the two companies as they look ahead to continued collaboration.
Upcoming Exhibitions
Following a busy exhibition season that included appearances at SIAVS in Brazil, Sanovo Technology Group is preparing for a continued run of international events. The company will be present at SPACE, Middle East Poultry, OVUM and Poultry India, while Sanovo Technology Process will exhibit at Alimentaria FoodTech and PACK EXPO Chicago.
