Poultry Trade Mission Ghana: a unique opportunity for Dutch poultry companies

This trade mission is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana and offers Dutch companies a unique opportunity to explore Ghana's fast-growing poultry sector up close.

Ghana currently imports approximately 400,000 tonnes of poultry per year, with more than 90% of domestic chicken consumption depending on imports. At the same time, the country is investing heavily in expanding local poultry production and further developing the entire poultry value chain. This creates interesting opportunities for Dutch companies active in areas such as:

• Day-old chicks & genetics

• Hatchery solutions

• Feed technologies

• Processing equipment

• Cold-chain infrastructure

• Modern farm management systems

The mission focuses on building valuable connections with producers, investors, government agencies, and other key stakeholders within the Ghanaian poultry sector. The programme will be tailored to the interests and objectives of participating companies and includes targeted company visits, individual meetings, and networking sessions.

Draft programme

• 25 October: Arrival in Accra

• 26 October: High-level roundtable with government representatives and networking sessions organised by the Embassy

• 27 October: Company visits in the Accra region and flight to Kumasi

• 28–29 October: Two days of targeted company visits, individual meetings, and stakeholder meetings in the Kumasi region

• 30 October: Final round of business meetings in Accra, followed by departure to Amsterdam

The final programme will be adjusted based on the delegation's needs.

Participation fees

• Early Bird (until 31 July 2026): €2,950 excl. VAT

• Standard rate: €3,250 excl. VAT
