Schippers Group to New Zealand
The Schippers Group is expanding to New Zealand. The company is opening a branch in Christchurch on the South Island. The opening of the office follows several international expansions of the company. After Canada, the United States, Vietnam and Indonesia, an expansion to New Zealand is now the latest achievement.
According to the Schippers Group, New Zealand has been an interesting market for years. 'Not only because of the large number of dairy cows and sheep, but also because of the scale and professional approach of livestock farmers.' From Christchurch, the team focuses mainly on the Canterbury region, where several industrial dairy farms are located.
MS Schippers supplies products that focus on hygiene in livestock farming and healthier and productive animals. In the Netherlands, the company is also active for the pig farming and poultry farming sectors on behalf of the dairy farming sector.
The first introduction to the New Zealand market took place last month during the South Island Agricultural Field Days in Kirwee. The Schippers New Zealand team presented various products there, including products for the dry period and claw health.
